- The heart of our program
- Training to take patient history and quickly and accurately identifying relevant exam findings
- Practice effectively assessing and planning treatment to align with patient goals as well as patient follow-up
- Precepting meetings with faculty to develop confidence and reasoning
Sports medicine
- Education in sport-specific risks and injury management
- Attendance at local high school football games for hands-on event experience
- Residents work with physical therapists and athletic trainers
Maternal health
- Comprehensive maternity care curriculum
